It's been a while. My family is happy and healthy again! I've got two things. First the good news. I signed up for a booth at the Jacksonville Wing Ding on 2 Oct! I'm both nervous and excited about this. I'll mainly be selling my hooded towels, so if you want to see them in person come on over! :) I'll have a few other samples of my work out, but I'll have some stock in the towels. I'll post pictures of at least one of the towels that will be for sale as a preview. :)
Now for the not so good news. I won't be selling C130s. They are adorable and super fun, but they take a lot of time to make. I will also be increasing the price for them (check the prices page for info). If all goes well, I'll try to have a stock for next year's Wing Ding. Although you may have a chance to win one . I'm still hashing out the details with my husband, but I may have one or two planes as prizes at the Wing Ding. Don't know yet. I've got more questions that need answering before we finalize that decision.

Family
If you're trying to get a hold of me for the next couple of days, please be patient. I have a sick family member. My life will be a bit upside down for a bit. Thank you for understanding.

Hooded Towels
Between going camping, having a garage sale, and my family reunion* coming up next week (I'll be gone 29 June-9 July) I haven't gotten much time to post. But here's what I've been working on.
I made this hooded towel for a friend's baby shower. She is having a boy, and her nursery is blue with frogs.
I embroidered (with one of my two fonts on my machine) the baby's name on the hood of the towel.
All my future towels are going to have the pleats facing the other way. I wanted to applique some cattails on there, but I ran out of time and energy after camping with the teen girls in my church.
The frog and letter are both home made appliques
Trying to finish, my husband was begging me to hurry up so he could snap some pictures. ^-^
I've already made a second towel. I made it for my daughter. I haven't quite finished it yet though, I still need to design the animal (a cat) and sew it on there. I'll take pictures and post them once it's finished.
*NOTE: My family reunion is out of state. I will resume sewing after 9 July. I will check my email as often as I am able while away.

Dress Form
More Appliques
Here are some more appliques I've made. The Young Women (ages 12-17) in my church are going to a week long summer camp in June, and so I was asked to make some drawstring bags with their initial on it as well as their initial on a pillowcase that I put some trim on.
