A couple in my ward was able to attend the temple at the beginning of the month and I got the wonderful opportunity to make their little girl a white dress for the occasion.
This is the best picture I got of the little girl in her dress. She was cranky and tired, and thus didn't want pictures taken. :)
Hi to one and all! Feel free to ask questions about sewing and I'll try to give a non-confusing answer. ^-^ I'll be posting prices for procedures, projects I am working on, and other such things pertaining to the sewing world. Also, feel free to give suggestions on what you would like to see on the blog, and I'll do my best to deliver!
I've been sewing professionally since 2007. I have taken several sewing/pattern classes at BYU and also worked for the alterations department at the BYU laundry for a year and a half. I eventually would love to go into creating and/or sewing costumes/gowns/etc from scratch rather than just altering. For the most part, sewing gives me a lot of satisfaction and joy (there are the days and projects that I just want to tear my hair out...but we all have those days ^-^).
